It would be great to have a current satellite picture / rainfall radar / lightning radar overlaid onto the map during planning (and possibly during Nav if device is online). I'm thinking a meteox.co.uk style view.

This gets my vote. I talked to one of the SD-Team on the Aero in Friedrichshafen/Germany some weeks ago and have made the same proposal.

For me it would be perfect to get a weather overlay in some DWD style like the GAFOR they are doing.
